And We’re Back

Hello, Lovelies. Anna here, springing back into action. It hardly feels like an entire season has passed, but it has. Unfortunately, my own Real Life Romance Hero passed away the week before Christmas, and that threw things completely off balance in several areas. Love, however is eternal, and we writers do return to our keyboards. This time, we have not one but two new releases to bring you:

She never gives up. He already has. Not on her watch.

On the New York subway, an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. Book agent Kelly Nolan, with a plan for every occasion, except her own nonexistent love life, spots the perfect romance hero in a fellow passenger and snaps a quick picture.

Just her luck, that passenger happens to be disgraced actor John Harrison Barnes, a.k.a. Jack, who no longer believes in himself or true love since his movie debut torpedoed his personal and professional lives. Kelly knows talent when she sees it, though, and a way to kill two birds with one stone. If Jack can play the role of her besotted suitor at her family’s lavish celebration, they can both benefit. Intrigued and attracted, Jack takes the bait.

Soon enough, life imitates art, ushering them both into uncharted territory, and everything goes off script. Throw in family drama, professional challenges, plus a battle-scarred orange tabby with strong opinions on sharing, and the course of true love may not run smooth, but it’s a hell of a ride.

June Daley never wanted to sell houses—she wanted to heal people. But when her father’s heart attack pulls her back into the family real estate business, June’s dreams of finishing medical school are put on hold. Now, she’s the agency’s top agent, haunted by a mysterious “Phenomenon”—a warm, otherworldly sensation that seems to guide her to the perfect match between home and buyer. Is it intuition, madness, or something far more supernatural?

When a grisly discovery in a client’s attic thrusts June into the center of a murder investigation, her life spirals into chaos. The pressure mounts as her father’s business teeters on the brink of collapse, and the enigmatic, infuriating attorney Nathan Knight demands payment for a decades-old buyout deal. As June races to save her family’s legacy, she’s drawn into a web of secrets, betrayals, and unexpected alliances.

With her sanity—and her heart—on the line, June must confront the truth about her “gift,” the ghosts of the past, and the possibility that angels might be closer than she ever imagined. Can she solve the mystery, rescue her future, and find where she truly belongs?

Drama King is a joint effort between Melva and myself, and Angel Whisperer is all Melva. Drama King is contemporary romance, the second in our ongoing Love by the Book series. Angel Whisperer is cozy romantic suspense with a little something extra. I will leave it to Melva to say any more. (Except that the Nathan in Angel Whisperer is not the Nathan in the Love by the Book series. They are two different people.)

We are both excited about both of these releases, and my own next upcoming solo historical romance, A Heart Most Errant, first book in my medieval Ravenwood series. Cover reveal coming soon.

If you’ve read and liked any of our books, the best way to help us out is to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads (or both.) “Good story” or “I liked it” or “more Clawed!” are all perfectly good reviews.

I’ll leave it at that for now, but trust us, we’ve missed you, we are writing, and we have lots more planned for you in this new season.

Happy reading!

as always, Anna
